Terms of Service

By creating an account or using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eroica provides a civic participation platform enabling communities to organize, vote on proposals, fund projects, and engage in democratic governance. Our Services include community management tools, voting systems, the Eroica Coins economy, and related features as described in our application.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, complete information when creating your account and keep it updated. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Eroica Coins ("EC") are an internal virtual currency with no monetary value outside the platform. EC cannot be exchanged for fiat currency, cryptocurrency, or other monetary instruments. EC are earned through platform participation and can be used to fund community projects. We reserve the right to modify the EC system with reasonable notice.

You agree to use our Services lawfully and respectfully. You shall not:

• •Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• •Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• •Attempt to manipulate voting results or governance processes
• •Access the Services through automated means without permission
• •Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
• •Impersonate any person or entity

You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform. By posting content, you grant Eroica a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content within the Services. You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all necessary rights to post it.

The Eroica platform, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Eroica AG and protected by Swiss and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our Services without explicit written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Eroica AG shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. These limitations do not apply to damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms with notice, except in cases of severe violations where immediate action is necessary. Upon termination, you may export your data as provided by our platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict of law provisions. You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through our support channels. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the app or via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may terminate your account before they become effective.
